What IS SimpleHVAC?

SimpleHVAC is a simple and powerful commercial HVAC estimating program. We make it easy for you to setup your material and labor pricing, input all your ductowork and other materials, see the entire bid in one clear view and finally print out a professional quote.

Is it Downloadable or will I have to wait for a CD in the mail?

Yes, it’s a download. In fact, the link will be waiting in your email instantly as soon as your payment is made. We don’t currently offer a physical CD.

How many computers can we have this program on?

When you receive your download link, it will be setup for one machine. If you have more than one machine that you need the program on, we are OK with that as long as it is within the same company. In that case, simply call us or email us and let us know what you need.

How many projects can we add?

We hate to use the word “unlimited” here, but it’s virtually unlimited. Just keep clicking “Create New Project” and keep up with all your jobs in one place. We DO recommend that you back-up your files once in a while just in case your computer crashes or the building burns down .

How does the ductwork input work?

Our program doesn’t integrate with a digitizer board, so the input is manual. With that said, it’s super simple. Choose the product you want to input, such as rectangular straight duct or a rectangular elbow, then input the dimensions and you’re done. Keep going until you’ve input all the pieces. It’s that easy.

What about other items such as Fire Dampers and Fans?

All the labor rates for products such as Fire Damper, Fans, Grilles, Access Doors, Equipment, etc are included, so the man-hours will automatically be included in your bid. Simply get quotes from your local vendors and add the low bids on the bid sheet.

How do we get help if we have problems?

Why is the price so low compared to other companies?

Good Question. We started as contractors and we love helping contractors (read more of our story here). We’re not a non-profit. We do make money. We just don’t have a desire to set our price as high as possible. We want you to have access to a program that is powerful enough to do the job, but not have to break the bank to buy it.

What type of jobs is this built for?

You can use it for any type of job you want, but it’s really geared toward commercial projects such as churches, schools, clinics, retail shops, stores, office buildings, civic centers, warehouses, etc.

Can we get a refund if we don’t like it?

Yes. In fact, if you don’t love it, we don’t WANT you to keep it. We only want Happy Users. We rarely ever see this, but if you aren’t happy, you can cancel at any time within the first 10 days and we’ll give you a full refund. (view refund policy)
